Horrible place to stay! Dirty, all rooms smells like mold... the bed blankets stink.... we stayed two nights without sleep.. on the second night I had to ware a mask in bed. The room didn’t have internet (couldn’t connect/no reception). The pillow stink also! I don’t recommend this place! The breakfast is very poor. This dirty smelly place should be 2.5 star not 4 at all. The manager Johnny was very an friendly too... I requested to chance the dirty blankets and was never done! We spent two terrible night in that place! I will never go back or recommend to nobody.

Stayed here 4 nights, beautiful place, set on the hillside overlooking Buzios and about 10 minutes walk from the buzzing centre of town. Large room with seating area, well equipped shower room, reception space with fridge and balcony with hammock, overlooking the bay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating; breakfast is served down by the pool and breakfast choice was excellent. Lush grounds, with swimming pool, sauna, small gym and therapy area. Would definitely recommend 😀

We had high expectations coming from the Portobay Copacabana. We were slightly disappointed. It does not appear to be managed at the same standard. Pros: Very big rooms, nice grounds and big balconies with hammock. Nice pool. Very quiet area. 12 min walk into downtown Buzios. Cons: Breakfast was mediocre at best. It does not have a good selection. Always out of eggs No matter how early you arrive.(However the staff at breakfast were nice to make you some...extra charge for omelette). The room was also dated.
