The food was decent but the service was a little slow. After requesting the check, the manager came to the table to ring me out. She swiped my AMEX card and I immediately received a fraud alert on my phone. The amount was correct, but the billing was not for Madero. The manager then switched the card swipe machine and the charge was properly processed. Below is a picture of the suspicious card swipe device. It is possible that this manger intended to commit fraud by cloning my card. I will be in contact with Madero’s corporate office and will post an update. •••As of today, November 1, 2019, Madero has ignored me. Awaiting resolution still and will repost with updates. Update: 11/15/19 - No response from Madero yet. It’s quite clear that they prefer to not address such customer service issues.
