AVOID THIS POUSADA! The Pousada is located close to the main Praça in Arraial do Cabo which has a great party every Saturday night, and is close to the docks for diving or boat trips. Those are the only good things I can say about the place. Being close to the Praça also meant a lot of noise, and the room I got at first faced the street with windows that were basically useless at blocking any sound - this despite having booked the best room in the inn. I asked for a quieter room, and got a much smaller room with a shower that didn't work and a toilet that barely flushed. When I told the staff about this, they did absolutely nothing to fix it. Even worse, they tried to charge me for a late check out the next day despite these problems and the fact that I had to shower in a different room! The beds are rock hard and dusty as well, which meant that a friend of mine who also stayed there was on allergy pills the whole time. The pictures of this pousada are pretty, and the location is good, but nothing works and nobody fixes anything. If this is what they're like in the off season, I can't image what they're like during busy times!
