Ocean View Hotel

I stayed at the Ocean View hotel this past August. The location was amazing, right on the beach. I booked an oceanfront room for 2 nights. I wanted to spend the week around arraial do cabo and buzios and booked different hotels for different days. The Ocean View Hotel was my choice around Arraial do Cabo. Marcelo helped us checking in. He was friendly and professional and got me a room fast. The hotel was practically empty. As soon as I entered the room I was disappointed. The furniture was worn and the curtains had holes in it. The wifi was terrible. I went downstairs to voice my impression of the room. I was told maintenance was gonna take a look at it. I did not want to deal with that because I had just arrived from a 6 hour road trip. The hotel was empty and instead of offering me another room, I was told maintenance was going to my room to fix the curtains. The next morning after breakfast I asked the front desk where were the beach towels so I could enjoy the beach. I was then told the hotel offered towels for a daily fee. That is in my opinion a terrible management decision. Nickel and dime a hotel guest that is already paying R$440 a night? I paid for the towels and to the beach I went. Once I returned to my room by the end of the day I noticed they had changed the curtains in the room. In conclusion the hotel is well located, staff is friendly but management doesn’t seem to understand or respect their guests time. They seem to fix things as needed of when someone complains. 5 stars to the staff like Marcelo and Raquel at the front desk that really seemed to care and try to help.

We love this hotel! It's located right in front of Prainha and the view is indeed amazing! The room we chose is comfortable and we hope to come back already even though we just arrived!

Nice and clean, great position right in front of the ocean, rich breakfast and helpful staffs although only Barbara speaks English(thank you, Barbara!!!).Overall, a perfect place to stay!

Excellent professionals. Attendants are so cute and localisation is one of the best on Arraial do Cabo.
