Armazém do Camarão

Nice and Cousy. Carol and Jurema make you feel like home. The food is good, but the individuals plates should come in a larger portions. I’m definitely coming back to try the Camarão no Coco.

Now, not too be too harsh I'll start with good aspects. The place has got a stunning view and if you are lucky to be there during the sunset you'll enjoy a lot. Also, the management was friendly and apologetic and made no issues with the complainant. One more thing I could add is the live music they had on that evening. However, the music itself was pretty loud...like a lot although I pretty much enjoy Brazilian music I could barely have any conversation at the table. Not sure if that is a standard but also could be related to football game being shown on TV with people screaming and shouting so looks like there was a competition between the band and the crowd. The idea was to move further down far away from the band (although o preferred this over football game) but that was a really, reaaaally windy evening and the place itself was packed with people trying to hide inside. Just to clarify, not blaming the restaurant for the wind... quite the opposite, they did their part by having see-through wind blinds all over. However, as I've already mentioned the wind was very strong that week and this particular evening. The plan was to eat quickly and head back to the hotel as the noise level was making everyone quite anxious and annoyed rather than relaxed. But when the main course was served it was smelly... quite bad. After literally one small bite the manager was called forward, apologised, took the food away from the table and offered something else which we refused to have. Only paid for a starter (plate of prawns) which was alright, nothing special but okay (most importantly not off) and two beers. Despite the main course being taken off the bill, the service charge was still there which we didn't bother to argue for. Overall, not the best experience. I wouldn't go back there but thanks to the management for dealing with the situation professionally and promptly.

Agiram de má fé com o fechamento da cidade... Fiz uma reserva (tive que depositar uma quantia em valor), obtive o QR Code para entrar na cidade, infelizmente tive um imprevisto e não deu para ir, entrei em contato para tentar estornar pelo menos a metade do valor e o estabelecimento se recusou em negociar, resumindo... Não comi, ficaram com o dinheiro... Lamentável empresários desse nível, se aproveitando da situação!

Estão respeitando as normas de higiene devido a pandemia. Comida excelente com preço justo, porção p dois é bem servida e o atendimento é sensacional!! O camarão servido no coco é divino, vale cada centavo!!

The place is perfect for a sunset. Wonderful food at a fair price for where it is. We ordered pastel de camarão (prawns) and Camarão no coco, they were both amazing dishes! Also, the service from Mateus and his companions was impeccable and very attentive! Recommended!
