Arraial are the most beautiful beaches I've been to in Brazil, it's a very cheap place why most tourists go for a day trip, I had the luck to stay several days in the city and it's worth it to enjoy all the beaches they have. The city itself is not very colorful, so I do not recommend walking at night alone, during the day it is another world. It is key to know Ilha do Farol, since it is a beautiful and controlled beach can only be accessed by excursion but it is worth it. The road to Praia do Forno is of medium difficulty / slight in 20 min. It runs smoothly but if you travel with an elderly person or reduced mobility I advise taking a taxi boat.
