Spectacular view of the beach & mountains. Perfect place to watch the sunset. We ordered the cheese plate, shitake + nira pizza (wow!) and buffalo mozzarella + parma ham + tomato + arugula pizza. They were like flatbreads and absolutely delicious. We scarfed it down and chased it down with some caipirinhas. The passion fruit caipirinha is fantastic.

The 23 Ocean Lounge is a pleasant outdoor and indoor bar/restaurant on the top of the Sofitel hotel in Ipanena (formerly known as Cesar Park). It has a small rooftop pool as well, pleasant for chilling after a day at the beach. Very good cocktails and casual food. Superb views. On Sunday they have a sundowner party with a DJ and pink Flamingi in the pool. Nicely done, but the music was so loud we could not stay the whole evening.
