All trails were closed, signs were out but no sign to stop us from wasting our time looking. Worker could see we were confused and ignored us anyway.

We saw monkeys and beautiful humming bird. Don't feed the monkeys!

Great to visit and see the monkeys. Lots of trees. Silence in the Copacabana area... almost an Oasis.

Great natural soundings!! Worth the visit

Extremely well-located and has an extensive trekking area which takes you up through the forest. However, be warned, that on Tuesday 11th September 2018 there was a robbery inside the forest involving four armed men who stole a man's camera and phone, and even punched him in the nose (hence why I only give it four-stars). I only know this because the guard warned me about it as I was looking at the trekking map, and recommended that I didn't go too far up. Apparently though this was the first time he knew of such an incident so hopefully just a one-off. Still worth visiting though, you get a great sense of being right inside a tropical forest, with monkeys and birds high-up in the canopy. Completely free to enter and has public toilets at the entrance. The park itself is perfectly safe, although it is more for kids. Though none were crying when I went.
