Charming, cozy, excellent staff, caring support and excellent locality. Everything you want and tons of stuff you wouldn't expect in a hostel, honestly. That's not dissing hostels of course. I'm just pointing out Pousada do Lago has pretty high standards. They even have a small hotel like breakfast and rooms are private. It nearly feels like a hotel experience. They're right behind Lago Negro and at walking distance from nearly all tourist attractions in Gramado.

We stayed there for a weekend. The price was very low compared to other places but the quality of service was up to standard. The owners are very attentive and kind. Parking space available.
