One of the oldest inns in Paraty and still upholding the tradition of old world hospitality. Lush tropical gardens wind through the space to the pool and bar area. Quiet atmosphere with large rooms decorated with traditional furnishings. If you want a calm getaway yet still stay in the historic center this is the place.

An absolutely great 4-night stay in a beautiful pousada, we didn't want to leave. Spotlessly clean, attentive service, immaculate grounds. Our room was spacious, so so comfortable; nothing could have been better. We'll definitely stay here again if we come to Paraty.

Now, that’s a truly amazing place! And what makes it truly amazing isn’t just the very good quality of the rooms or pool or ambience or the fantastic garden or the delicious food. It’s the team. I’m a very experienced traveller and it’s been ages that I’ve seen such a dedicated, mindful, careful and happy team. Every single person at Pardieiros, the loveliest housekeepers, the best managers, the expert receptionists - they are simply the champions. I wish you could all experience that. Paraty is with a visit because Pardieiro is there. It was a true treat!

Surely such a marvellously quaint location within the city centre of Paraty cannot go unnoticed for very long. The Pardieiro Inn (Pousada, in Portuguese) is one of those unforgettable spots that one encounters in ones travels, that one finds difficult to come away from. The kind, attentive staff, the generous breakfasts, the immaculate surrounding gardens, the soothing swimming pool, everything, absolutely everything contributes to make you want to extend your stay. Kudos to Mr Arnaudo —not sure if I'm spelling his name correctly— and his daughter Marcela and their accommodating staff for keeping such a wonderful place open for our enjoyment. Um grande e agradecido abraço!

Great historic retreat The pousada is located in old town Paraty very close to the place where the carnaval action happens. Actually is just 5 minutes away (walking). The good thing is that is far enough to be isolated from the noisy blocos (music players and dancers) that on Carnaval are on the streets until 2 AM. The rooms are huge, equipped with old fashioned furniture and fixtures. There are a lot of open spaces within the property where you can relax and chill out. You'll find plenty of sofas, TVs, rocking chairs, hammocks and anything you you can think of to hang loose. Free wifi is available (signal strength can be low due the nature of the construction) and there are no TVs in the rooms (you won't need them in a place like this). The pool is nice, towels are available and you can access it...whenever you feel like. Freedom and respect are promises at the Paraty Carnaval. The breakfast which is included is amazing. Coffee, fresh squeezed juices, cakes, bread, pão de queijo, cereal and lots of fruit and cheese. Scrambled eggs and omelettes are also served. Above all the amenities and infrastructure available for your comfort there are lots of employees which are ALWAYS KIND, RESPECTUFL AND WILLING TO FULFILL YOUR NEEDS. Worth every penny.
