Vibe Hostel

Gustavo and his family create good vibes. A shop with organic products and herbs and super strong coffee nearby.

Dorm and kitchen were ok for the price. Had a good vibe with other guests. One star for the horrible treatment we got from the guy at reception. My friend asked the price of the beer (5 reais) and asked if the glass bottle was 5 reais as well. The receptionist said yes and my friend paid and started drinking. 10 minutes later the guy says that the beer was 10 reais and my friend has to pay. Not saying sorry or anything just starting to ask for the money. My friend refused to pay since he would have bought the cheaper beer if he'd known the price. The receptionist started to raise his voice and act really unprofessionally. After this he started sending audios on his phone talking badly about us. We also saw him having problems with a few other guests during our stay. He made us feel super uncomfortable and we have never been treated this badly for no reason before. Recommend telling the rules of the hostel to the guests at check-in to avoid confusion.

The hostel was really good! The location is perfect, right in the center. Everything was very clean and the stuff was helpful and friendly. Can't say anything bad about it. I'll definitely recommend it.

Really nice place, it has games, bar, is near a supermarket, and near centro historico...

Simple hostel with very friendly and helpful staff, clean as well. The covers for the beds were very warm for summer and the Wi-Fi only occassionally worked in the social area.
