Located on a pedestrian-only street, it is very central to the museums, shopping, and ferry of town. An old building with a lot of charm. Quite a nice breakfast is included. Unfortunately they only have housekeepers in the morning, and with only two showers/toilets per floor, they were filthy quickly. The old plumbing meant that using the bathroom had a good chance of finding floaters in the toilets, which didn't go down upon my queasy flushing of someone else's detritus! Several times over the course of day! And advising front desk did little to send the guy there with any kind of implement to hasten its departure. If that sort of thing doesn't perturb, it otherwise is value for money in a quaintly run down way.
