Avis Aluguel de Carros

We rented a car twice within one week. The first experience was ok, during the morning, friendly staff. Second time, a week later, in the Evening, it took us 1,5 h to rent a car even it was pre-paid and having rented a car with them a week ago. They did all the procedures again and typed all the details again into the system. Extremely slow and the staff at the airport was so unpolite that we decided to wait for the van to do all procedures at the store. Even though it wasn't help at all... so next time, I will try another company...

Completamente desorganizado. Cobraram a locacao no meu cartao duas vezes e finalmente quando devolveram nao me reembolsaram o valor total. They double charge your credit card. The Avis in the USA blames the Brazilian location and when they gave my money back, it was not the full amount. I will NEVER rent from AVIS/BUDGET again.

I'm extremely desapointed with the services provided by Avis Brasil. This has been the worst experience I've had with a rental car and rental car company in all my life. It started with the car pick up when all the information I input online for reservation was useless as I had to provide it all again at the counter. At the car pick up there were some damage to the paint that the employee told me they were minor and I should not worry about it and refused to note on the inspection document. On the following day, the car broke as soon as I started, leaving an oil spill. I had to call 5 different numbers and speak to multiple people to resolve the issue. The store told me to call roadside assistance, they will send a tow truck but tell me to call back the store about the replacement car. The store tells me I need to go pick up it up at the branch and tell me to call back the roadside assistance and they would organize a taxi. It's unacceptable to have to call two or three sites, multiple times to try to have an issue resolved. I'm tired of dealing with Avis.

Extremely slow service. Already had car reserved. I have never waited this long. Only one person in front of me. Avoid Avis @ GIG at all costs.
