Old bakery, nice ambient but there is not air conditioner... So is hot to eat inside. Good food.

The excellent croissant and house mate refreshment (mate da casa) are unique to this bakery and traditional in Ipanema.

In the eyes of a non-local, this is a great place for the community, with a variety of empanadas, sweets bread and pastries as well as cold drinks to buy until midnight. They have some simple seating and a wide range of people are hanging outside, having coffee or a soda. Peaceful, relaxed and useful.
