Bar e Restaurante Urca

The bar is cozy and has an friendly atmosphere. There is two very distinct ways to enjoy it. On the secondary floor is a nice restaurant where I would recommend you to have some Cod fish. On the street level you will find a small bar where you can buy beer and some Pastel, cross the street and seat at the edge of the sidewalk facing the world famous landscapes of Rio.

Great place to grab a quick bite and beer and chill by the water. Loved it

Bar Urca Antonio was amazing and a perfect location to stop at to have a drink on our way back to our hotel. I have never had a colder beer in my life. It comes out of the freezer and it has plenty of frost on the bottle, plus they put it inside what they called their beer condom (a Styrofoam container for the bomber beers). We started downstairs, ordered beer, grab and go, at this famous little place and walked Across the street to the wall to watch the sunset. The history is great, and it’s right across from Rio’s famous skyline wall. We moved upstairs where my new friend, Antonio took care of us. It was a tiny little place upstairs that serve some great food, with maybe about 10 tables if you’re lucky enough to sit by the window you could look at the sky line. I WOULD recommend, the coldest beer EVER!

A very warm place. Get some beer downstairs, sit across the road and enjoying the water around - definitely a must! A bit more “official” atmosphere upstairs with friendly staff and nice suggestions. Was able to pay tips by card - top!
