Bar Carioca da Gema

I had an amazing night here. They play live music. The crowd is quite mature and willing to let loose and samba the night away which is exactly what I did. I loved the vibe at this bar, it was so much fun! Entrance was 35 Brazilian Reals if I remember.

Brazilian samba music and dance. Quality and tranquility. This place is frequented by half Brazilians and half foreigners. It's a nice place to come off your are visiting town and want to get introduced to roots Brazilian music. Drinks are great and they have a pretty extensive selection of typical appetizers too. The place is safe and the street in front is safe too. Definably recommend this for visitors

Came on a whim, paid a cover which we normally don't like to do, but worth every penny. Cheaper beers on Thursdays make it much easier, food was reasonably priced, quick and tasty. Staff are friendly, space is limited so arrive early if you can.
