Brill drinks and the food is great as well. The vibe is perfect for date night.

We’ve enjoyed both the cocktails and the food and haven’t had any disappointment. On the contrary, every sip and bite added to the wonderful night. My Old Fashioned is often made too sweet, not here. We’ve eaten 6 different dishes, all delicious. My favorites were the risotto balls and the beju with dried meat. Honestly, must visit!!

The João Gato was amazing! What a cool and classy cocktail bar to go to. Great for groups, as well. Lively, good music, and great service. The bartenders really know how to make a drink!

Very friendly staff which is rear for the trendy bar. Bartender Maurice (hope that I spell it correctly) is an artist. Located at trendy neighborhood of Botafogo. Highly recommend
