Boteco Belmonte

Honest prices and really good food! The caipirinha is amazing!

As soon as we sit, before we even get to see the menu, a waiter approach us with a plate full of empanadas that we though were some kind of invitation (and therefore free) so we took one each. We then realize that they were not free at all, with a price of 18 reals each. Besides that, the food and attention were good with big portions. A little bit more expensive than expected though.

I was a bit sceptical about Boteco Belmonte because they had so many reviews. Anyway, the food I had here was awesome, everything was well served and well prepared. Cocktails were also very tasty. While my stay in Rio de Janeiro I ate at Boteco Belmonte more than once (which is very important because I tried to taste food from different restaurants as much as I could).
