Thank you Rob and Richard for a wonderful stay in Rio! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in your beautiful home! Rob was a TREMENDOUS help making recommendations, being responsive via WhatsApp, and giving helpful advice for staying safe throughout the city. The B&B is nicely situated and is a short car ride from numerous Rio highlights. We elected to travel via Uber and never had any issues getting around town. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the fresh squeezed fruit juice was truly a highlight. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay in Rio, this is the place to be!

This place is nice! Average price, great location, in the heart of Botafogo, safe spot for staying and warm hospitality. I just felt embraced there, like a second home.

We enjoy O Veleiro B&B so much that this is the 2nd time we have stayed here! We have traveled throughout Brazil numerous times over the years and this is a favorite of ours. Rob and Richard operate this very comfortable, professionally-run B & B and both are very friendly and always helpful and speak excellent English. We are fond of the garden and pool area and enjoy the marmosets (little monkeys) and birds, including hummingbirds and wild parrots in this little oasis. We like the location because Botofogo is a “real” neighborhood with far less tourists than many other parts of Rio. We thank you, Rob and Richard for another wonderful visit and look forward to seeing you again!
