Second time renting from this company and they try to pull the same tricks. They tried to charge for apparently picking up the car late, although they took over an hour to attend us. Also, I HIGHLY recommend you take a video and photos of every scratch on the car. They will say that the little scratches don't matter, but they will try to charge you for it when you return. Do not leave the lot without documenting ever minor defect on the car. Fortunately I wasn't charged this time, but it took a lot of arguing on my part. In the end, they still made it seem like a dent in the car door was my fault even though I had a photo showing the dent before I rented the car. Overall a very unpleasant experience.
Good experience here. Rental companies get bad reviews sometimes but staff here were very helpful and friendly and it was a smooth pick-up and return service. Tecio (I think his name was) was particularly good.

This agency charges a cleaning fee, unlike all the other car rentals in Rio de Janeiro. However, the service was good and the pick up and drop off experience was quite easy.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We paid more fore insurance when setting things...and they charged us double of what was set for ONE broken backlight and made us pay for the whole rear to be replaced. About 250US$ for ONE backlight broken...
