Ipanema Beach Hostel

It’s a cool hostel with friendly staff and free caipirinha after 8. Really safe surroundings as well. The area is full of shops, bars etc. And it’s only a 1 minute walk to the beach. You can meet really nice people around, even if you came alone (like I did). I stayed here for two times during my two week travel in Brazil.

Extremely loud music til 4:30am, and you must stay awake !!!! Very nice, but foreign guests would cancel their stay within 48hrs.

The best quality-price to stay in Ipanema. Very good location, 2min walking to the beatiful Ipanema beach, free caipirinhas every night for hosts and the personnel is the best.

That's a great place in Ipanema (excellent location one block to the beach), great staff and very good to make party!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Great environment and conveniently located just about a block away from essentially anything you could need. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful during my stay. Some notable members of the staff were Bren, Sofia, Melvin, and Ana. The four of them went above and beyond for my friend and I during our stay. The rooms are a bit cramped... The bathrooms are incredibly small and for whatever reason the door opens into them which makes it unreasonably difficult to enter or exit...there’s no laundry facilities, and the laundromat a block away is extremely expensive... breakfast apparently isn’t included... but other than that, it was overall a great stay.
