Parque Do Flamengo

Always one of the most relaxing parks in Rios Center area. The palm trees gives shadow and the security is still on a good level. At night or on the sides, there are still problems possible. Try to avoid a swim in the Guanabara bay, this water isn't the cleanest and if you want multi-resistent bacteria, it should be another argument to JUST watch. The Park is on the weekends more crowded, but you will always find a calm spot. Right now it starts that you can see and hear the carnival preparations with some bands preparing from now on.

More peaceful and safe than one would think. A hidden jewel. Well designed urban park the dismisses the freeway that would overpower a not as well conceived park. A triumph of urban planning!

Specially for me was the most beautiful place I could be on the entire time I lived at Rio do Janeiro. Very safety place with an innumerous amenities and a really impressive places to visit. Finally the beach is amazing and secure. I always recommend a place like this one when you visit Rio and specially Flamenco
