Simply put, Lapa is the place to go to enjoy the bustling nightlife of Rio. Its busy, its crazy (and maybe occasionally a fight might break out), but its a lot of fun to go there!

Nice place for street food and drinks. Sometimes there´s musicians too and people selling their arts. Be careful with your wallet because, unfortunately, there´s thives too.

Beautiful aqueduct. It is one of those places that is better to visit during the evening, when it is lively full of people and places to grab a drink and listen to some music. During the day it doesn’t feel so safe. You can ride over the arches with the tram that connects the center (largo da Carioca) with Santa Teresa - R$20 both ways.
