Place is really, as name suggests, a yacht club of some sort and not marina at all. Management apply navy style discipline to customers. You are tolerated, but not really welcome. Very limited space in pontoon. Anchoring is 10-14 meters deep and holding is good. Anchoring area continues long way downstream towards the bridge. Stay well away from the channel.

That's a great ride for visitors and locals. You can appreciate a gorgeous sunset with live music, a guide telling the history of the city and have some drinks.

The facilities are good and generally the staff friendly and helpful but the guy who works in the front office seems too have a chip on his shoulder and made our whole experience at the club rather sour. Late Cabanga in Recife was a absolute joy. One person can make your experience bad, so only three stars. 😣

All you need with staff keen to assist. Download a translator if you can't speak Portuguese. Tip, use the uber app rather than the suggested taxi service. 10% of the cost. Great facilities here.

They are not very welcoming at all. Food is expensive and of average standard
