Hyatt Place Macaé

Almost international standards , Comfortable rooms , Chefs are good. Continental breakfast. It's a corporate hotel not a leisure stay. They need improvement in housekeeping standards. Front desk staff is really multi-tasking with bartender, restaurant captain and even cleaning tables. Overall a good and comfortable stay for corporates.

Excellent value proposition. I shall miss all the friends I made during my stay in beautiful Macaé: Tiago, Nina, Emily, Mariana, Valber, Josiene, and Levi. And Lukas, the proud namesake of St. Luke, whose gospel account of our Saviour’s birth is my favorite. And in this blessed season where we remember the Madonna and Child, I dare not forget the radiant Paula. And Ygor, the face of Hyatt. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

My husband and I have stayed in several hotels in Macae, as he travels their often for work. This is the best by far. Helpful and attentive staff, the food (breakfast and lunch) are good, and the facilities (gym, pool, etc.) are far beyond what you find at other hotels in the area. Even the morning chef speaks English, which is helpful and appreciated if your Portuguese is more limited. A great choice for people coming to Macae for a work visit or relaxing vacation!
