We made an appointment to arrive there and be offered to file our returns a week later, strongly supporting the fact that my spouse would not have the student rate even if she is a full-time student and that it would cost us expensive because our files were complicated (it is the least complicated taxes that we had in our life, a t4 and a paper of tuition fees each and my spouse had a scholarship paper).
We demanded to do them there since we made an appointment. The guy asked us to leave and come back in an hour and a half. We came back an hour and a half later to have to wait for 15 minutes in the waiting room and spend these 15 minutes hearing the manager of the place explain to our "accountant" how to file our returns. Back home and we realized that they almost doubled my spouse's annual income in our federal return.
Experience not to be repeated🥵
Worse experience of my life side customer service. No smile, you ask a question, you bothered them. The supervisor of the office does not know the software, receptionist (s) beasts, and too long delay. I advise anyone this place.
This is my first and last time with Hr block. Very big lack of respect and professionalism towards their customers.
More I loved I was with Taxes Sainte-Foy and they sold to H & R Block. I stayed for three years. They made mistakes two years in a row. Their guarantee, $ 25 off if you come back next year. This year I am with real accountants.
