A small town in the chemin royal, a road that borders the river, Batiscan had at least one person interested in its history, and the many books written about it can be found in this place, that has a nice view of the river and it is a great pit stop between Quebec City and Trois Rivieres.

Plage was flooded because of heavy weather in fall, I went for the viewpoint. Was not disappointed. The Saint Laurent splendor and a beautiful village

Nice place to stop on the road for a picnic on the st-lawrence river. It is the tourist information center.
