Sapphire Accounting

Everything was done for me in a matter of days. I had quite a few years to be filed and it was super easy. They were great at responding to emails and answering any questions I had.

My wife and I have been using Saphire Accounting for over four years. We wanted them to be our family accounting firm. We hired them to help us plan for the future to maximize our returns from year to year. Despite being loyal customers year after year, they have failed to help us plan, interface with CRA, and have flat out not been able to resolve a simple matter over the period of 2-3 years now. I just got blind sided by an another $1300 payment that I was told was taken care of twice now. Despite them dropping the ball again they want me to pay them $90 an hour to clean up their bad accounting. The receptionist was rude insisting I pay for shipping documents I already had. When I try to plan with them for the future to maximize my return for next year there is crickets on the other end. If you're looking for an accounting firm that values your business, doesn't make major mistakes, to help you plan for the future, to resolve CRA issues, or just feel like they're on your side this is not the place to go. Go somewhere else save your self 4 years. I wish I would have. Just to be honest and fair Diane was okay, but she retired. So run...

My boyfriend uses Sapphire for his personal and business tax preparation. He loves how quick and easy the process is with Sapphire and this year I'll be doing my personal and business tax with them as well.

Went to Sapphire to do my refiling last year as I was eligible for some additional refund. Due to some back and forth with the CRA things stalled out and it seemed like my personal tax specialist at Sapphire didn’t really seem too concerned or invested in helping me. I ended up calling the CRA directly and they had closed my file so I had to reopen it and I ended up sending them the documents they needed directly and received my refund in less than a week. This is what I paid Sapphire to do and they couldn’t even be bothered to call the CRA and see what was going on. Was really not happy with the level of service or diligence from Sapphire after paying them $250+ in fees. Will be going to a CPA this year to have things done a bit more diligently.

Sapphire accounting filed my taxes and I couldn't have been happier with the job that they have done. They took care of all my receipts, bank statements and expenses and e-filed the tax return. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their taxes done fast and at an affordable rate.
