Canmore Main Street

A place unlike any other. I was seriously considering moving there...that was until Trudoh took all the jobs away. But surrounded by the mountains, it's one of the most beautiful places i've been.

I like canmore better than Banff. Less tourists, more shops and better prices.

The Thursday market is excellent. Good restos. Lots of touristy souvenir shops.

Lots of shops. Easy walk. Fun even in the rain. Parking can be a bit difficult.

My Mum & I started going to Canmore about 25 yrs ago, for weekend holidays. Mum likes it better because it's not as busy as Banff, but is still a town in the mountains. I like shopping in the stores along Main Street, but do miss the lower-priced $ stores.
