Grande Cache Municipal Campground

Great access to town, paid $33 a night for power +water. Densely treed in and great sized camp sites. $20 dollars will get you a great big wheel barrow of chopper wood, and no paying extra for fire pits. Great base camp for your mountain adventures.

If you are looking to relax and enjoy your holidays I do NOT recommend this campground. The woman running was terrible to deal with!! Getting after kids at the park for putting sand on the slides, yelling at campers for using the washroom while letting others use it without an issue. She made us all feel very uncomfortable and was extremely rude!! It’s too bad because the campground it self was nice.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of trees on the territory and how nice and private the sites were! The wood they sell is worth buying (even) for the future as it is dry unlike in some other grounds that sell it. We will for sure come back if travel in this area!

Beautiful campground in the outskirts of town. Clean washrooms and laundry on site. Beautiful views of mountains in town.

Excellent place to stay. Front desk staff was ver accommodating. Clean site with lots of trees.
