Golestan Bakery

I love Golestan!! hands down the best Persian bakery I've been to in the region. Whether this one or the Marine Dr location, we love to stop here especially after hiking. The honey balls and the Baklava Yazdi are to die for. Love you Golestan!!

There was a hair inside the pastry (roller) we purchased. We noticed the hair while eating it... yikes! We went back to the shop as unsatisfied customers with the terrible news. Their reaction?! Not even a "sorry"! Nothing! She (the owner) put the pastry asside and went back to serving other customers as if I was not there and the experience had not happened. Not offering anything to make it up to the customer is one thing, not saying they are sorry is another, ignoring the customer is on another level. There is something seriously wrong here :) Or maybe finding a hair in their pastries is so frequent?

I was looking to place a last minute birthday cake order and I needed it to be delivered on the same day. The lady who took my order was so nice and took my order and delivered it in half an hour. Highly recommended.

Delicious persian icecream and very fresh Rollet...I really enjoyed!

Good home made cakes and not that expensive!
