Co-op Forest Lawn

Found it very pricy but produce was good

This is the best Co-op the staff are always so nice. Tess and Owen are often working cash and never skip a beat, they are always very calm and friendly. No one likes grocery shopping but it always feels like a nice community in there. They also always have lots of fresh produce and it isn't too busy.

Co-op Forest Lawn is my "home" Co-op and once again, they delivered! Just had a fantastic meal of beef short ribs- delicious! I have looked in other grocery stores, including other Co-op stores, and have not found short ribs like the ones in the Co-op Forest Lawn meat department. Ohmygosh they roast up beautifully in the oven...a real treat! Also have to commend the produce department because as far as I'm concerned, you have the best produce section in Calgary. The selection is vast, including a large organic section thank you very much and the way it is arranged is easy flowing. Finally, Co-op Forest Lawn bakery rules! I have bought cakes here that were just award-winning in flavor and texture- well done! Also, you need to know that you have the BEST large dinner rolls in the city. Again, I have yet to find buns as soft and chewy and satisfying. Well done Co-op Forest Lawn!
