The Station Public House

Social distancing and masks are required. The food is super good. The waitresses are friendly and seem like an awey group! Would definitely recommend the place!

We went to this restaurant as it was listed on Okanagan Family Fun as kid friendly. Apparently they used to give kids pizza dough to play with, but that didn't happen this weekend. On arrival, we were told it would be 20 minutes for a table. We weren't seated for over an hour. Had we known about the wait, we would have gone elsewhere, especially with two children. Then when we were finally seated, it was another 15 minutes before a server came to our table. We were on the patio and the lighting was nonexistent, we literally couldn't see our menus or our food. I didn't know if I was putting gnocchi or tuna on my fork. The staff couldn't get the fireplace next to us to light, and warned us that it might suddenly burst into flame. Considering we were seated inches away, this did not inspire confidence. Wish we had stayed in our room and ordered pizza.

Service was fast. Food was good! Did not have want I wanted on the menu. They piece together what I wanted. Only problem Is the damn Covid covered up some pretty faces!

I went to The Station public House August 29Th 2020. My Partner, my 5 year old son an old friend of mine and myself for A late afternoon lunch.( My girlfriend that is going through a divorce) had Been super narcotic all day and was very unhappy with all events that day she was very hard to please. We were being the worst patrons possible today . We moved to 3 different tables so the servers had to super sanitize everything everywhere we went (Covid times) my neurotic gf complained about everything even her lovely margarita which I tried and decided I wanted to order for my next drink it was so good, she complained that the salt rim was too salty, she even complained about the salad dressing that she thought was too yellow and that it was more yellow than the ranch dressing that was in my partners wrap. I reminded her that Caesar salad dressing is made with egg yolks which are “yellow” they make everything from scratch at The public house (how wonderful) . I was mortified beyond belief about my friends behaviour yet the server Marie claire as well as another server Ellie who helped us move the 3 times were incredibly friendly and super accommodating, they made sure our food was tasting to our pleasure after we had a chance to evaluate each item, which we devoured in moments. Also My son who is super full of energy played at they playground nearby and rode his scooter around the hotel court, (the Incredibly safe walkway) where the employees of the hotel who were also super friendly obviously had an eye out for him and other young children also playing In the area. Everything about my experience at The station public house was amazing and accommodating and welcoming to the max even though our party was difficult to the extreme we felt validated and things were corrected Or canceled without charge, This is the friendliest most accommodating place in Town , what a wonderful and great community of staff. I felt very well taken care of, The cleanliness and health of this establishment is perfection. Wow!! Keep up the good work!! I will be back and I promise to be a better patron. Thank you

Food was good. We had the ginger tofu and the Louisiana chicken burger. Both were good, but I ordered a blue cheese (beef) burger. Sometimes things aren't as good when you are disappointed, but too hungry to wait for the server to correct their error. After receiving the wrong meal then getting a featured cocktail with a large black chunk and a water with lipstick, it was still good enough to consider going back. Three elements make a great restaurant: food & drink, ambiance and SERVICE.
