Food was great. Prices were fair. The market had an excellent assortment of goods to take home. Would definitely go again. Meat portion could be slightly larger, but that's okay.

I've always enjoyed the food at MJ's. Went with my mom last week and was very unhappy to see that no masks or physical distancing were in place. When I inquired as to whether cooks were wearing masks, I was told that no one wears masks because public health doesn't require it. We left. My father is in isolation at a care home with an outbreak (all residents are), and seeing a restaurant not taking precautions to keep their patrons safe is very sad to me. I will not be giving MJ's any business until they up their awareness and precautions for the pandemic that is, indeed, in Steinbach too.

I love this little place! Every time I am in town for work I make sure to stop in for some great home cooked food. They have done a great job with the new social distancing expectations and continue to provide great service and great food with the new addition of a bit of a larger "store" front at the entrance of the restaurant near the till that is just full of yummy looking baked goodies.

Cute little cafe with good homemade food. Located on the Main Street. A little decor updating would make this a 5 star.
