Avery's, in Guysborough, is truly a gem and a pleasant surprise. They have an excellent produce section, very nice salad selections, rotisserie chicken (which they call BBQ chicken),and even a reasonable selection of cheeses and yogurts. Two of my favorites are the premade deli sandwiches and the huge pizza ((cook if at home,) for under $10. Am very grateful to have such an excellent grocery store with such excellent variety and quality. For a small grocery store Avery's earns a grade of A+!
Friendly service but outrages prices! Good for quick needs but best to go to a bigger town as the selection if fairly lacking.
