I purchased a cake for my sons birthday celebration, while it looked nice, the cake itself was not good. The cake layers were too thick in consistency and were overcooked. The tops were hard and the flavor was lacking, a lot. (For a chocolate cake, I expect to actually taste chocolate, not just eggs and flour). Would have made our own cake but ran out of time and figured with such good reviews that we would give it a try. Never again. I will stick to making my own cakes at home. Overpriced, no flavor and overcooked. Will give 2 stars for it being well decorated.
Hands down the absolute best cake/cupcake shop ever! I have ordered cakes & cupcakes from here for every special occasion over the last several years, and I have never been disappointed. The cakes are absolutely delicious, beautifully decorated, & made from high quality ingredients, the customer service is top notch, and the ordering & delivery process is super easy & efficient. My favourite is the Monsieur Chocolate Cake. Highly recommend!!!!
I bought a small birthday cake for a friend but forgot to bring it on our small birthday trip. We ended up eating it almost a week after purchasing and it was still absolutely perfect! You could not tell that it had been in the fridge for a week- it was so moist and fresh!
Ordered a dozen assorted mini cupcakes to celebrate a birthday. This box of tiny treasures was not only beautiful but provided the perfect opportunity to sample several flavours. Moist and delicious. Great alternative to a cake.
The cakes are just pretty nothing else! Extremely dry cake with no icing inside, I doubt if they even poured sugar syrup to make it moist. Felt as if I am eating a dry loaf cake with extremely sweet icing on top !
