I have been a Certified Funeral Celebrant approaching 20 years, and during that time, opportunity was offered to officiate a number of funeral services at the South Side Memorial Chapel. If Eden, Kristie and the staff, treat other officiants, as well as have treated me in the past, then I certainly am in a comfortable chapel. They are organized, respectful, thoughtful and accommodating to clergy, and more importantly, to the families they serve. Our family was very impressed by the kindness and compassion that Eden and his team had while we dealt with our loss. The services they provided before, during and after the funeral were helpful and caused us no unnecessary stress. Their chapel is very spacious and the pricing was very competitive with one of the south side Edmonton "discount" facilities. I attended a viewing at this funeral home, it was cramped and chaotic in the narrow hallways and there was no room to mingle together as a group. At Southside, you are greeted with an open church-like foyer and chapel with plenty of places to sit down. I believe that when we celebrate a funeral we should have good memories of our loved ones and not have regrets on the venue and services we received. I would highly recommend SouthSide Memorial Chapel ! Thank you Eden and Team!

I would highly recommend this chapel, Heather was absolutely amazing, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Heather put a lot of time and effort into making my son's Celebration of Life beautiful. Thank you Heather for helping us through such a difficult time.
