Safeway here in Canmore has done a marvelous job over the last few months during this trying time. They actually managed to redo their whole fresh produce area.. and now it is huge... So much good fresh veggies, fruit, salad items... love it.
And the Meat Department.. the butchers are great.. so friendly, willing to cut what I want... great selection.
Whole place is excellent!
Generally, every staff member is very friendly here and particularly Henry, supervisor or manager, shines because he is always very friendly to my kids and my kids are always happy to see him. Henry is always very helpful to find anything that we have a problem to find and he always greets and shows appreciation whenever he sees me and my family. He is always very professional and a very hard worker. One day, I was not sure if I could use my Safeway gift card in Safeway Liquor shop and he walked with me to the Liquor store to confirm. I have never seen a person who has true dedication to customer service in Safeway, so I am always impressed by his customer service and love to go shopping in this Safeway. Thank you Henry!
Nice Safeway, can be busy.
We were greeted at the door and offered hand sanitizer. The store was clean, tidy and we'll organized. Not overly busy either. A nice experience ☺️
Staff is great and super friendly.
Milk in coffee got burned so a little bad taste in my latté.
I took a breakfast wrap, it taste good but not much meat in it for $8.95.
If you want a snake, it's a good size. I would definitely go back and try there coffee again since not many places in Canmore are as friendly. Worth stoping by if you're visiting and need a nice and quiet coffee or tea break.
Also, it's a good place if you like organic food.
