Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre

I've been attending Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre for 12-years and they've taught me how to meditate, control my mind and cultivate beautiful states of mind that help me be a better husband, father and professionally as a massage therapist! They offer a variety of programs for beginners and advanced alike, from retreats (both at the Centre or at peaceful locations in Bragg Creek) to evening drop-in classes and weekend workshops. Buddhist or non-Buddhist everyone is always welcome at AKBC :)

This Centre offers a wide variety of classes, from introductory "Learn to Meditate" classes to in-depth studies of entire texts. Check it out if you've been curious about Buddhism. The Monday night drop-in classes are especially recommended.

A beautiful facility with wonderful people and an easy going approach to learning about buddhism. Perfect for people new to this exploration. :D
