TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

April 03, 2020 My wife and I just did some grocery shopping at Walmart wearing our face masks as my wife has had a tough last couple of years fighting breast cancer and other major auto immune issues. Before going home I had to stop at TD Bank in Drayton Valley. I put my mask on before entering the bank. Upon entering the bank, a lady inside the front door stopped me and ask me if I had a fever, was I in contact with anyone that has the virus, or do I have the virus. I was feeling disrespected at this time because other people were entering the bank, and they were not getting quizzed as much as I was. My wearing a mask is for my protection as well as my wife’s so I asked her why are TD employees working here not taking precaution as well. At this time the branch manager comes out and starts to tell me that a face mask will not help. I said if somebody sneezes or coughs you don’t thing a mask will help. Well that was the wrong thing to say, she tells me if I don’t like it I can leave the bank and then she tells me to use the bank machine. I told her that the ATM will not let me withdraw the amount of money I need. Then she ask me in front of everyone in the bank, how much are you withdrawing. I told her the amount and said why did you start this big disturbance out loud in front of all the workers there, and she said if I didn’t like it I could leave. I realized that this was getting way out of hand..I did say to the branch manager that it’s a matter of time before we will all be wearing masks. Again she told me to leave the bank. I have been dealing with TD Canada Trust for 18 years, and I want to see the video tape of the disrespect I received from TD Bank, Drayton Valley. I would like for you to review this video so that you will see that there was no reason to be treated this way. I was at the branch in Drayton Valley approximately 1:45 pm. Regards, Eric Moore

I would not recommend this bank to small businesses owners. They just refused to process my entire deposit of 15 checks without putting a hold on it because they said that it was Christmas time and they could all bounce. I can't even remember when the last time one of my customers checks bounced. The discretionary decision that the manager made was highly disappointing. I am highly dissatisfied.
