Village Of Chauvin

Sleepy little village in east-central Alberta 8 km. west of the Alberta/Saskatchewan border on AB Highway 610. The large grain elevator at the south end of the village was purchased by a large farming operation in the area and painted barn red. With the green shingled roof this large and striking building seems to pay homage to the agricultural industry and the farmers who are the very foundation of this industry. Also of note is the world's largest softball which is on display at the north end of the village along AB Highway 610.
