Victoria BBQ House & Bakery

Tried multiple buns. The taste is good I think. However, it's not fresh. All of the buns I bought are dried out. I would like to buy again because the buns are good if in fresh and maybe I was unlucky this time. If they want to have more customers, they should think about that. Stale bread of course is not allowed in a bread store. BTW, not a good place to go in such a serious period. Everyone should touch the bread window and tong by themselves.

Said they only accepted cash, so we ordered via Tutti in the store (had to then call and say no delivery required) and then the shop staff said we take card just not tap. Staff barely spoke English. Finally got our roasted pork and soy sauce chicken with rice and a pineapple bun. When we opened it to eat the rice smelled and tasted old, and both meats were very hard and dried out. Hoped the pineapple bun would be better, but it too was so dried out I was ripping the outside edges off to eat the insides. The female staff was also not wearing a mask and kept coming over to us and just not socially distancing at all even though we were clearly trying (wearing masks, standing apart, etc.) Terrible experience all around.

Pretty bad service, I was yelled at to order while still picking and after paying my girlfriend stood and waited to be helped but was ignored as the cashier disappeared into the back. Probably a blessing in disguise as when she saw me bite into my bun she wasn’t exactly interested. Revoltingly greasy, decent flavour but just way too greasy and cold to enjoy. Maybe it’s good when they’ve just opened, but our experience was less than fresh. Only saving grace is the dirt cheap price.

The best BBQ pork on rice in Victoria. Walk in, order, pay, take it to go. All in less than 5 minutes. They also have duck and chicken but I'd say stick with the pork as it's the best. Love going here for a quick and delicious meal.
