Empire Donuts Cook Street Village

Unfortunately the owner has been struggling at operating her business since opening due to a series of misfortunes and poor judgement. When she did have a full staff she was often verbally abusive to them and blamed them for business mistakes made on her part. Obviously many of the staff quit and you can see from her twisted social media posts how she quickly makes herself the victim. It's the only restaurant I've ever worked with no active pest control and the mindset that "you can't stop mice from getting in". Very little cleaning took place and there was no one with food safe other than the owner at the time of my employment.

I've been meaning to come to Empire Donuts for far too long. We ordered my Dad a peanut butter chocolate cake for Father's day and while there I tried a cookie n cream and a salted caramel donut. Woooooooooooooow! Those were the best Donuts I've ever had and I can't wait got the cake. We will post pics for sure. Go to this place!!! 100% worth it.

These are imho the best donuts I’ve had! The one that everyone MUST try is the pistachio flavour. Most places use synthetic flavour but empire doesn’t go cheap and uses real pistachio nuts! Their hibiscus donut is also incredible and tastes downright juicy!
