The room was very clean and nice, very spacious. Modern looks. Front desk tho closes quite early and also open late. There is a pub right beside it so you can grab a quick bite if you would like. No elevators tho, so if you have larger luggage it might be tough to get to your room.

Perfect spot! Katie at the front desk is amazing! Awesome location - jump off the dock right on their property into the beautiful Cowichan River. Restaurant/pub's food is delicious. Try the clubhouse, mmm! $3 Riesling - umm OK! We will be back!

Our room was great! Unfortunately that's were the good times ended. The food and service at the pub was among some of the worst I've received in my 7 years of being in Canada. Vivian was more interested in serving the gents at the bar then serving us. My beer arrived with a slip of paper inside? My order of ribs were tough and tasted store bought, the potato skins were not crispy. After all of this she gave us the wrong bill. My wife had to walk to the bar in order to pay as the waitress was chatting with the guys again. Will not be returning!

I rate this place four star for cleanliness, comfort, and style. The only reason I rate it so highly is that I'm deaf in one ear so was able to sleep through the noise. Unfortunately, my wife, who is not so afflicted, hardly slept because so would rate it a two. In addition to traffic, there was slamming doors and ongoing footsteps on the wooden stairs outside the door. If you do stay here, bring earplugs and maybe an eyeshade and you'll be fine.

Receptionist Check-in and daily service, fantastic! Always friendly and very efficient. Bar host serving Saturday night was bubbly, fun and provided exceptional service - Bahama Mama's were awesome!. Family Suite was great with exception to view of the rooftop, downstairs noise from a door slamming possibly from kitchen chiller or service doors plus vent outside the suite windows kept us up most of both nights. We will definitely be back but, we will book early for a room with a balcony and view next time!
