Say It With Cake

When I went in to this business, I had expectations: communication, and upbeat customer service. While I understand it’s a fast paced job- the customer in front of you is your first priority. The interaction was subpar. Today I had an arrangement made with a local baker, and say it with cake didn’t deliver on any of the latter expectations. I will not be coming back to this business, and neither should you.

“ . I believe you did ask why I was nice to everyone but you. This is why. You were belligerent/demanding and your friend was video taping us. Both Tim and I were trying our best to please you. Finally exasperated we asked both of you to leave, which is our right.” THIS IS UNPROFESSIONAL. Firstly you were being video taped because YOU MAM were being ‘belligerent/demanding’ as well as HOSTILE. I repeatedly asked in a LOW calm manners voice if “this is too much work I can leave”. Secondly, your personality is unprofessional, being Italian is not an excuse. And mr Tim is just sitting there watching you fire your head off over a computer. Don’t get the scenario mixed up lady. My attitude was professional, calm, and I was more concerned about you and your transition through menopause. Thirdly, you should not be accusing customers for attitude when it wasn’t present, and only you were agitating the situation.

Everytime I’ve entered this bakery I have never been treated with friendly manner. The woman who owns the bakery with her husband have no customer service skills , patience they lack in, and communication is so far from their minds that no matter what you come in for, these two seem to be frustrated . Handling a business is hard, but at least be good at it. Also if your a bakery, shouldn’t the baked goods be fresh? Every time my cupcakes are dry! Ordered a cake once, never again, it was inedible. Disappointed with this store. They should shut down before the people shut them down.

Lady at the front was extremely rude. It’s suppose to be a nice professional and FRIENDLY environment, ANYWHERE you go. That was the EXACT opposite of this store. What is with the service? I came off from work and I had the nice service attitude. Not only did I receive exceptionally rude service, I have gotten a cake made by them before and it was not up to my expectations.

I believe the older lady who works there with the short grey hair, we came in for a simple scan on her machine and instantaneously she burst out with frustration as if she regrets working there, and hates it so much. We called the previous day and said it’s okay to come as they could try and do what we needed. Throughout the rest of the unpleasant visit we were bombarded with glares of disbelief and frustrated sighs. She has the audacity to say we’re being rude as we finally had it with her rude manners to her customers. How does one even work in a 1-1 customer environment, if you cannot tolerate YOUR customers coming in calm minded and “collected.” And dealing with genuine small time business owners then how can you keep your job. How this establishment in Abbotsford has a 5 star ratting is beyond me. Don’t let these people who think they’re better than everyone else serve us, you’re there to serve me and I am there to pay you. Quit your job hag
