I ordered the breaded prawns with fries and the food was delicious. Our waitress was pretty busy and as a result it took a bit longer than anticipated to receive our bill, but I understand that things happen. We did try to flag the poor girl down a couple times, but we couldn't even make eye contact. Even a quick little smile, or a nod of acknowledgement would have been appreciated. With that said, I would recommend the restaurant and consider going back on my next trip to the mainland.

Really enjoyed the food & service first time being here and they opened the sidewalk patio which has brought a great vibe to the area. Salmon cakes are a must try my wife and I both very much enjoyed them. My wife isn't a big seafood fan but she loved them. Great flavour and not too flaky where they fall apart. Short ribs were good had a bit of sweetness to them paired with the sweet potato mash was a bit too sweet for me. Fish n chips were great! Halibut is a must try. I would say if your a seafood lover then this is the place to go. Definitely would be back and fully expect to give a five star rating the next time.

There was a long black hair in my food. I got their happy hour Burger + fries + beer and instead of making the whole meal complementary they changed the order on the receipt to still charge me for the beer. In the times of covid, you would think they’d be more careful.

My husband and I both loved Bow & Stern. It was our first time visiting today and we can't believe we've waited this long to try it out. The food was DELICIOUS and the dessert was to die for! I would highly recommend the chicken tacos, deep fried brussels sprouts, and the salmon cakes. I don't even like fish but the salmon cakes were amazing. Their dessert menu does not disappoint either. We had the peach trifle and both said it was one of the best desserts we've had in a while. 10/10

Was enjoyable,lobster mac n cheese was really good. Charcuterie board is a go to for us usually. Found new desert that was great today -deep fried banana split...if you have room try it
