DOG OWNERS... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! We have never been to White Rock! Our family went this past weekend for a day at the beach, a walk on the promenade, check out the pier. And guess what? We returned home with a $200 fine for walking on the promenade carrying our Yorkie ALL THE TIME. Yes, we saw the sign saying no dogs and picked her up. What problem could that be? Apparently, thats a whole lot of trouble. Especially for the $200 fine that we we had for carrying her. Looks like its ok to leave your dog walk on the beach, but not on the promenade... Or maybe its a way of White Rock community to get rid of tourists willing to spend a weekend down there. For sure we will never return. On top, we will NEVER recommend anyone to go there. Its a beautiful place... but again, looks like the locals do not want visitors on their turf!!!

As the headquarters for the City of White Rock, this administrative building is easy to love. The building is professional and welcoming when attending the evening council meeting. Very impressive for a city with small land area and small population.

Ooooh White Rock! You are a marvelous little town by the sea and you're always sunny for us, "White Rockonians". We love you for that and we keep you clean and enjoyable for your visitors. Come see the (world?) famous Rock, which the city hall paints for you nice and shiny quite often to make sure you're desperate to see it every time! The long Pier which is remarkably exhausting to "climb" in the wind is still worth climbing as once you're out there you get to listen to the kids happily screaming their lungs out and you can see the sweet young couple as they muse to the blue sky. What a picture! Do you remember the crab fishers? The boats tied out for safety? The city lights at night? The Peace Arch from a distance? The islands from southwest?? If you answered no, no, no, don't Google them, come and see everything for yourself!!!! 😃
