Ksan Historical Village

Lovely and well-kept campsites, right on the river, lots of amenities. The historical village was amazing, all travelers should check it out. One of the buildings was being used by an artist to carve totem poles, who we had the chance to speak with and watch him work. We were doing a road trip and this was one of our favourite stops!

This was my second visit to Ksan Historical Village. It's a beautiful place and a great opportunity to learn about the indigenous people from this region. Highly recommend a visit especially if you're driving between Terrace and Smithers!

Very interesting location. The Indigenous artwork on the buildings is impressive, as are the totem poles.

Site was closed but you can still walk around. Met totem pole carver Dan Yunkws who was working on his latest project and told us told the story of how it came to be. Excellent experience, brilliant carver and story teller.
