This was our first time, staying at the resort. We came with our parents, who have been here many many times in the past few years. Yes, the price was not to bad because we had the 3 night deal. But housekeeping in both our rooms was beyond sloppy. First thing, we noticed in our room, was used underwear (bra, thongs etc) left behind in the bottom bathroom shelf. Second, my 4yr old daughter found some sort of pill on the floor....not tucked behind anything, but in middle of the room. There were crumbs all over the room. My parents had big spider webs hanging down over their bed. Floor was dirty. Bathroom tiles had a big blood or wine stain, which easily could have been washed off with a mop. Other than that, our stay was good. Front desk staff was overly friendly, that I have to mention. Restaurant food was very yummy.

My wife and I really enjoyed Hecla resort. We went during COVID, but the pool and hot tub was still open which was really nice. The exterior of the building could use a fresh coat of stain, other than that the building looks awesome. We also brought our dog and stayed in the pet friendly room which was nice. Big bathroom and comfortable beds. We purchased the stay and play deal so we were able to get in a round of golf during our stay as well. The course is in beautiful shape and a good challenge. I’m sure we will be back again one day.

All the staff were so cheerful and enthusiastic. That really made our weekend in Hecla. Our room was very spacious and looked out into the forest. I really need to compliment the staff in the kitchen at Seagull's a little extra. Every time we go to the Hecla Resort we are always so impressed by the quality of the food. Superb.

Nice place to stay with kids, not too far away from Winnipeg. The rooms are comfortable (2 adults +2 kids) Very pleasant and friendly staff, great family swimming pool. Unfortunately I have to mention that just after we checked in we found not welcoming pic in front of our door (the same thing was in other rooms either)

Our stay was so great. Went to front desk before check in time and gentleman was happy to let us in early. Everyone from pool check in service to restaurant service was so friendly. We felt welcomed and treated well. Rooms were amazing, walking around the grounds were amazing. Single mom with her boys needing a get away, truly was a perfect get away. Thank you
