This is a great local place to get some fine chocolate products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the high-percentage cocoa products, but there's a wide variety of sweets with or without nuts, fruits, etc. It's made locally. I was inspired to write this, as a review on this site by a Google "guide" gave the local shop and factory a two-star and stated, incorrectly and irresponsibly, that all of their product was made in the States.
Great chocolate. Lots of different choices including sugar free treats.
But disappointed to see no social distancing in the store during a pandemic. Otherwise a great visit.
Donini has the 82% dark chocolate I want and use. Always great staff to deal with. I love the decorative themes they have too
Great prices and extremely friendly staff. The lovely lady even stayed late on a Saturday to ring in my friends and my large purchases. The quality is exceptional value and there is a huge selection of chocolate, candies, truffles etc. A must see in Bellville, especially if you need to pick up gifts.
I sent them an email Sunday morning asking to have a box of truffles and wine delivered to our hotel for my wife for our wedding anniversary. Monday morning Antonia the store Manager responded saying they’re closed mondays but she would take care of the request personally!
Chocolates and wine were amazing. Highly recommend this place.
